Out in the sun with your little one? Good idea and fine, but protected of course. Or naturally protected. Naïf Sunscreen for Baby & Kids SPF50 optimally protects fragile baby and children's skin from UVA and UVB radiation. The sunscreen has a natural filter derived from the mineral zinc oxide (non-nano), which creates a layer on the skin. Which immediately reflects the sun's rays. This makes a natural UV filter great for children with sensitive skin, minimizes a skin reaction and protects instantly. Also nice: the cream is water-resistant. Sun, Sea and Sorry Free, that is.
The sunscreen is easy to apply, absorbs quickly and does not leave a white haze. Yay! This is thanks to natural oils like olive oil, coconut oil and sunflower oil. Other than that, the cream is completely ocean-friendly. Not only good for your skin, good for the sea too.
We do recommend that babies be kept out of the sun as much as possible for the first year. But, of course, there's always the possibility that your child will come into contact with the sun's rays, don't do anything about it. That is why Naïf's Sunscreen is also safe to use on the sensitive skin of newborn babies.
What is the difference between SPF30 vs SPF50 Did you know that there is little difference between factor 30 and 50? For example, factor 30 protects 96.6% against UV radiation and SPF50 protects 98% . The difference lies in the skin type. The SPF number determines how long you can sit in the sun before you burn. Where one skin type is pale, burns quickly and gets little to no tan, another can take more.

A standard sunscreen can contain ingredients such as oxybenzone and octinoxate, as well as microplastics and nanoparticles. These are not nice for the skin or the sea. Good news, we don't have them in there! Did you know that in some countries chemical UV filters are even banned?
