Hydrophilic cloths are also often called hydrophilic diapers. Hydrophilic cloths are soft thin cloths made of very finely woven cotton, bamboo or a mix of bamboo/cotton. They are very fine for sensitive baby skin. The cloths absorb moisture quickly and easily. They are therefore called hydrophilic, which literally means "water-attractive.
You can use the hydrophilic cloth for drying off, as a blanket, for swaddling, as a bib/mouthwipe, as a clean surface or for more privacy while breastfeeding.
